Organic
Chillin' Hillkat

This meerkat shows the same characteristics as normal ones. However it has gained the ability to surround stones in a thick layer of ice and throw them at aggressors. Those hurt like hell, so you better watch out.
ts name is quite misleading, as the music its listening to has been found to be heavy metal.

Appearance[ | ]

The Chillin' Hillkat is a small, brown-furred creature looking out from a hole in the ground. It wears cyan headphones, to distinguish it from its weaker counterparts. It will stay in one place, headbanging to music, until engaged in combat.

Combat[ | ]

The Chillin' Hillkat is a very quick in combat, and dives under the ground to pop up in a new location when approached or aggravated. Its basic attack is to throw a small Heat rock that can inflict Burn icon Burn. When this rock hits anything, like a wall or the player, it splits into two and travels in the opposite direction. It will occasionally charge for a more powerful attack, shown by it flashing red. In this attack, it burrows and positions itself beneath the player underground to uppercut them and throw a splitting rock at the same time. This enemy is immune to knockback, which allows it to escape attacks that are supposed to stunlock enemies, and can be broken by throwing a charged Ball at it when it is preparing its uppercut attack.

Strategies[ | ]

As they tend to burrow and run away whenever you or your allies get too close, it is better to keep your distance and only attack with Balls. Break them whenever you get the opportunity even if you are focusing on another enemy at the time and always consider the possibility that a split rock might hit you even if you dodged the original projectile. Another thing to consider is that, despite the fact that they attack with Heat, they are actually Cold enemies and thus weak to Heat.
